- PCBTEXT 46400 6-07-90 9:13p
- The PCBoard text file modified to use these menus.
-
- BE SURE TO MAKE A BACK-UP OF YOUR CURRENT PCBTEXT FILE!
-
- Just put this file and all the .TXT files below into your \PCB\GEN
- directory and you are all set. Log on and try the new sub-menus!
-
- This is set up for a standard \PCB\GEN directory, if yours is different
- you will have to make the changes with MKTXT145.EXE. Use the search
- function in MKTXT145.EXE to find all the "%" references to the files below.
-
- ABORT TXT 244 6-07-90 9:15p
- Displayed to caller if a file transfer is aborted.
-
- CHATA TXT 741 6-07-90 9:15p
- Displayed to caller if he types CHAT and is currently "unavailable" for
- chat. Also calls CPROMPTA.TXT for the proper prompt line offering the
- "available" choice. In other words, if you are "available" for chat, you
- would want the prompt to offer you the "unavailable" choice and vice-versa.
-
- CHATU TXT 741 6-07-90 9:15p
- Displayed to caller if he types CHAT and is currently "available" for
- chat. Also calls CPROMPTU.TXT for the proper prompt line offering the
- "unavailable" choice.
-
- CPROMPTA TXT 58 6-07-90 9:15p
- Chat prompt with the "available" choice.
-
- CPROMPTU TXT 60 6-07-90 9:15p
- Chat prompt with the "unavailable" choice.
-
- FILES TXT 2292 6-07-90 9:15p
- Files sub-menu shown to caller after an "F" command (after displaying the
- Files Directory first time). Menu shows file sub-options. Also calls
- FPROMPT.TXT, the files prompt.
-
- FPROMPT TXT 86 6-07-90 9:15p
- Files sub-prompt, displayed during any files operation. Called by Files
- Sub-menu.
-
- PCBDUMP TXT 3102 6-07-90 9:15p
- My favorite file for dumping obnoxious callers, display looks like phone
- line noise then caller is dumped off. Displayed if F-8 is pressed.
-
- PROMPT TXT 97 6-07-90 9:15p
- Main menu prompt, displayed at main menu.
-
- QSCAN TXT 1998 6-07-90 9:15p
- Quick-Scan sub-menu, displayed for all quick-scan operations.
-
- REDUCED TXT 280 6-07-90 9:15p
- This file explains to the caller that an event is pending, his time will be
- reduced, and if he calls back after the event, he will get the remainder of
- his time. A little more friendly than "Time reduced for an event"
-
- RMAIL TXT 2119 6-07-90 9:15p
- This is the Read-mail sub-menu, displayed during mail Read commands. Calls
- RPROMPT.TXT, the Read-mail prompt.
-
- RPROMPT TXT 102 6-07-90 9:15p
- The Read-mail prompt.
-
- MENUS DOC 1702 6-07-90 9:15p This file.
- This file....
-
- Really the only reason I have my menus call a seperate prompt file is for
- my flexibility in making changes/updates to the menu files. The prompts could
- just as easily be put right in the menu.
-
- These files are free for you to use, modify them as you see fit.
- I assume NO responsibility for them, or you getting your setup messed up
- because you don't fully understand the PCBTEXT procedure for calling text
- files in place of prompts, etc.
- READ THE BETA NOTES REGARDING THE PCBTEXT FILE!
-
- I can be reached via the PCRelay PCBHINTS conference as I read it daily.
- Please drop me a note if you are using these files.
